LUCAS REPKA

       Lucas J. Repka is an experienced litigator with over fifteen years of experience in civil litigation that was preceded by two years of clerking for the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.  Over his career, Mr. Repka has represented a wide range of public and private clients that varied in size and sophistication, from the initiation of organizations to established entities seeking expansive growth.  As each client’s needs, preferences, and requirements are different, Mr. Repka provides individualized and flexible representation encompassing zealous advocacy for each client. The provision of timely, effective, and cost-efficient representation to advance or defend the legal rights and obligations of his clients are the primary tenets of his practice.

 

Mr. Repka has been honored professionally by Who’s Who America and as a Pennsylvania SuperLawyer, which acknowledges Mr. Repka’s reputation within the legal community.  Mr. Repka is also a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Northampton County, and Lehigh County Bar Associations.  Mr. Repka is also Assistant Solicitor to the Lehigh County Department of Law, Volunteer Solicitor to the Miracle League of Northampton County, and assistant-head coach for the Easton Area High School’s Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse Team.

           Mr. Repka is a graduate of Saint Vincent College and the Duquesne University School of Law, where he was accepted into the Order of Barristers for his excellence in Trial Advocacy.  Mr. Repka is admitted to practice before all of the trial and appellate courts for Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Repka is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

JOSHUA S. MAZIN

         Joshua S. Mazin is an experienced attorney who represents public and private clients that vary in both size and sophistication.  Mr. Mazin provides personalized and flexible representation together with zealous advocacy to each client.  The primary principles upon which Mr. Mazin bases the practice of law are the timely, valuable, and cost-efficient representation to advance or defend the legal rights and obligations of his clients.  Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Mazin served as Chief Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert Simpson (retired) of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.     

   

          Mr. Mazin is an Honors graduate of the University of Florida.  He earned his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where he served on the Board of the Dickinson Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.  Mr. Mazin has co-authored several published articles with judges and practicing attorneys.  Mr. Mazin is admitted to practice before all trial and appellate courts for Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

  

        Mr. Mazin is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Lehigh, and Northampton County Bar Associations.  Mr. Mazin also serves as an Assistant Solicitor to Lehigh County as well as serving as Solicitor to several other local agencies.  Formerly, Mr. Mazin served as Solicitor to the Lehigh County Board of Assessment Appeals.

MELINDA SHORDAY

          Melinda’s decades of personal and professional experience make her uniquely qualified for Special Education Consultation and Advocacy.  As the parent of two children with special needs, she understands the high expectations every parent has for their children's education and believes all students can achieve to their full capacity when their needs are appropriately met. 

 

           As a former Educator and Director of Specialized Services in a network serving 14,000 students, Melinda has a thorough knowledge of what it takes to support students with special needs across the full continuum of disabilities and support levels, including low-incidence special programming.  She has extensive experience in innovative programming and accommodations, development of policies and protocols, as well as developing and providing professional development for program improvement. She has managed hundreds of Due Process matters, working toward solid outcomes for all parties.

          With knowledge of both the responsibilities schools hold to provide appropriate services and the barriers they sometimes face in doing so, brings solutions to provide just-right supports to meet student needs.  Melinda holds a Master of Education in Special Education PK-12 and PA teacher certification in that area, as well as PA Administrative Certification K-12.

TAMLA OLADAPO

          Tamla has worked exclusively for the firm since its establishment in 2015.  She graduated from Berkeley College in Woodbridge, NJ with a degree in Paralegal Studies in 2002.  She worked as a Family Law paralegal until 2008 and then became predominately a Special Education Paralegal.  Now she assists with Special Education, Tax Assessment, and Estate Law.

          Tamla effectively utilizes her multitasking, communication and customer service expertise in providing detail-oriented support to the attorneys and the clients. She plays a vital role in the execution of day to day tasks from simple will drafting to complex litigation cases. She also maintains all document production and the client case file, and assists in preparing for mediations, hearings, and trials.

Tamla and her husband migrated their family from New Jersey to the Lehigh Valley in 2008 and since then has established significant community ties. Tamla enjoys reading, traveling, and spending valuable time with her family.
